Emily started off as a work experience student at our Wem practice in January 2011 and was employed as a trainee Veterinary Nurse in September 2012. At work, Emily enjoys nursing exotic patients; particularly reptiles. After qualifying, Emily hopes to do further qualifications in exotic nursing care. During May of 2015, she went to Madagascar to partake in a wildlife conservation project. She thoroughly enjoyed this and would like to undergo a similar project in the future.
Outside of work, she enjoys caring for her array of animals that include: five dogs, three cats, two guinea pigs, two rabbits, a crested gecko, an ex-racehorse, a goat and flock of chickens. Her particular interests are training her spaniels for use as gun dogs and photography.
