Nurse clinics

At BM Vets, all of our nurses go through at least three years of training to become Registered Veterinary Nurses. Their extensive training equips them with the knowledge to advise clients and to assist our vets with all aspects of animal care. Some common procedures which nurses perform are: blood sampling, radiography, anaesthetic monitoring and inpatient care.

Our friendly nurses also run clinics to compliment our medical care and ensure your pet remains healthy. These clinics include:

  • Nail clipping
  • Parasite control; nurses will happily weigh and administer flea and worming treatment to your pet
  • Microchipping
  • Post-operative care and stitch/staple removal
  • Puppy and kitten vaccinations (2nd injection)
  • Weight clinics
  • General advice on health and behaviour

Please call the surgery if you’d like to book an appointment to see one of our wonderful nurses.
