Waiting rooms

We aim to provide a calm environment for your pet to relax in whilst waiting to see one of our vets or nurses.  We recognise that some animals find mixing with others stressful so please ask a member of our team if you would like a quiet area away from the main waiting room. It is sometimes better for your pet to wait outside or within a vehicle if they feel more comfortable and it is safe to do so. Please ask for advice at reception on the best way to make the experience as calm as possible.

We also encourage regular social visits to our practice where the animal does not receive any treatment and just comes in for cuddles! This can help get them used to the trip to the vets and help them remain calm on future visits. The best time to do this is outside of our appointment times when the surgery is more likely to be quiet.
